Pastor Bose made a special mention of God’s presence on Sunday’s service and the whole church willingly endorsed it. Pastor briefly mentioned the meeting with the elderly people, inviting several people to testify about it. One of the church’s activists Olga Afanasyevna declared how our bodies are being renewed and that though an elderly lady she feels like a newborn child.
All those who were present heard the testimony of a pastor from Yalta (Crimea), Valentina Chabannaya who went for a mission at 73 years old!
After testimonies pastor Bose recommended watching the movies “Man who has changed everything” and “Courageous” and then write down lessons.
Pastor Bose and members of the church prayed for pastor Sunday and for the closing of the criminal case.
Afterwards pastor continued the preaching on “The Man of God”.
Only a man of God has God as the highest priority and goal in his life, and this is a pure science. Jesus Christ is the most qualified person who can teach us this science. Pastor shared quite a bit about the Holy Trinity and triunity of a man. God is triune, all three personalities are inseparable, and we should accept this fact by faith. God sent Jesus to this earth to reveal Father to us. Living on the earth Jesus revealed the essence of God the Father.
“after fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry.” (Matthew4:2)
The man of God is moved by God. When Jesus was in the wilderness the devil attacked His calling. Pastor Bose emphasized that we should not have the word “if” in our walking with God as we are not driven byr our own reputation and do not have to prove anything to anyone. Jesus did not turn the stones into bread, as that would have been an abuse of the power of God. He did not allow circumstances and needs to dictate conditions. He could feed a crowd using the power of God, but He did it for others and to glorify the name of God. This is a good example of how to live by the Word of God.
“Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4)
A person will live not by circumstances, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. There are people who find excuses trying to ignore the Word of God. But we as Christians live exclusively according to the Word of God. Times are passing by, but the Word of God is immutable.
Pastor Bose said that she would never allow today’s needs to lead her. The actions of a person reveal whether or not he is moved by God. The man of God always chooses the right priorities and he lives by his mission. It is sufficient to make relationships with God as one’s highest priority being forward-looking and living by God’s goal.
Pastor drew the members’ attention to the fact that everyone must possess the ability to look forward as the man of God is moved by Heaven.
“Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. If you are the Son of God, he said, throw yourself down. For it is written: “He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.” Jesus answered him, It is also written: Do not put the Lord your God to the test.” (Matthew 4:5-7)
Reading this scripture pastor Bose admitted that the man of God does not go against Him and not tempting God. Such person is working a miracle for the only reason to glorify the name of God.
What feature of the man of God we can add?
“Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.” (Matthew4:8-10)
Mentioning the trials of Jesus in the wilderness pastor Bose said that people of the Kingdom are able to be radical when it is needed. Jesus did not beat about the bush with the devil as He was constantly guided by the Word of God. People of God do everything for Him finding a place of worshipping God in everything. Every trial we are passing through is for His glory, every joy in our life is for His name.
Dearest friends, let’s become people of God working hard on ourselves in order to have the features and values that would reveal God to people!
Be abundantly blessed!
