The Years 2011 – Is a year of God’s visitation

Dear friends! The New year 2011 has come. This year will be for us the year of God’s visitation. We believe that God visits the people on earth, and that the new year 2011 will be the year of God’s visitation of Ukraine and us as believers and God’s Embassy Church in particular.

You know, it is impossible that God visits a person or people and life remains the same. With God’s visitation changes are inevitable: circumstances change, mountains melt, and impossible situations get resolved. Therefore, brothers and sisters let us trust God in this new year, that He will visit us – and it will be a time of special grace and blessings! The year 2011 will be the year of God’s visitation of your home, your family, your personal life, your church, your country!

I want to notice that God’s visitation may have different dimensions and different meanings. God visits people for different goals and different tasks. Today I would like to consider some purposes of God’s visitation.

1. And the people believed: and when they heard that the LORD had visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped. (Exodus 4:31)

When God sees the affliction of a people and hear their cries and prayers for help, He answers the cry of the people and gives deliverance. Thus, God not only visits and answers to the cry of the people, their grief or difficulties, God also visits to deliver them.

2. And Joseph said unto his brethren, I die: and God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land unto the land which he sware to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. (Genesis 50:24)

We see, when God visits – he saves. When God visits – he delivers.

The first thing that God’s visitation brings about is deliverance. Let us suppose that you and I experienced meeting with God, so that our lives were changed. As a result of this meeting, He delivered us from sin. If people experience a real meeting with God they get redeemed.

3. And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD. (1 Samuel 2:21)

God’s visitation always brings miracles. In this case, God visited Hannah, Samuel’s mother, and this visitation brought her a miracle – Samuel was born.

We can see a similar story in Genesis 21:1: And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken. Sarah also experienced a miraculous conception because of God’s visitation.

God’s visitation changes and turns the impossible into the possible. All impossible situations in our lives will turn into supernatural miracles and testimonies in the name of Jesus Christ! In this year, let’s expect God’s visitation every month, which will bring God’s miracle, a miracle of deliverance, the miracle of incredible blessings and so on!

4. Another goal of God’s visitation is to call people for ministry.

This new year God will visit some to separate them for the ministry, some will start their service to God, some will find their calling and some will find their destiny. God’s visitation will separate you and ordain you to a ministry in which He wants to see you!

5. God visits us to sanctify and clean.

Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress. (Psalm 17:3)

Whenever God visits a people he makes them better: He cleanses and sanctifies their hearts as it was with Isaiah the prophet. Having experienced God’s visitation, Isaiah learned that he was a man with unclean lips and thoughts, and as a result became another man immediately. God’s visitation cleanses us. So let’s be prepared for a cleansing and sanctifying this year, more than ever!

6. Luke 1:78: Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us.

God’s visitation is a sign of His mercy to us. Even when God visits a man, a people, a family, a church to judge or punish, or to correct them, in every case this visit is always a sign of God’s mercy. Therefore, in this new year, God’s visitation will be a sign of His mercy to us!

I want to note that God’s visitation will not be like what we expect. Someone might be waiting for God to speak to them audibly, or for angels to be manifested in the flesh. But maybe God wants to visit us through the leadership school tests or through retreats, conferences, and daily reading of the Bible or any TV programs, through circumstances … We must be alert and sensitive to notice and not miss a time of God’s visitation!

7. One more purpose of God’s visitation.

If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me. (Numbers 16:29)

Often God visits people to release and to give His judgment. We see an example of this in the Bible.

Let us hope that God’s visitation in each of our lives will be for good and not for bad in the name of Jesus Christ! Let us be prepared for God’s visitation so that it does not result in our destruction, but for our salvation, to make us better and worthy to be used by God to do His will here on earth.

Be blessed!

With love and prayers for you,
Senior Pastor of the Embassy of the Blessed Kingdom of God for All Nations Church
