Evidence of healing of psoriasis, adenomas, thyroid tumors, as well as the improvement of sight and restoration of the spine and joints can be heard on the first day of the crusade with Pastor William Kumuyi.
We remind you that from the 17th to the 19thof June 2011 in Kiev, evangelistic crusades titled “Take your miracle of healing.” are planned, with the participation of Pastor William Kumuyi.
On June 17th, the honorary guest preached basically about whatever problem a man has (however unsolvable the case may be) he has to continue to stand on his faith. Moreover, it is necessary not just to believe with words only (to say that the problem will be resolved or the situation will be changed for the better), but also to make certain efforts, according to one’s faith.
” Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1).
In most cases, in order to see the “expected”, something must be “implemented”, i.e. some actions need to be taken. Faith itself can do nothing – God can create the necessary conditions, send the right person, provide an opportunity, but the man himself is responsible to make a crucial step.
The main Bible scripture of the Friday evening service was the second chapter of Mark’s Gospel, verses 25-29 – a description of the history of the woman’s miraculous healing who had suffered from bleeding for a long time.
“And there was a woman who had had a discharge of blood for twelve years, (26) and who had suffered much under many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was no better but rather grew worse.(27) She had heard the reports about Jesus and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his garment. (28) For she said, “If I touch even his garments, I will be made well.” (29) And immediately the flow of blood dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease.” (Mark 5:25-29).
The Speaker stressed that, despite the fact that having tried all ways to recover from an illness, and not being healed (in fact, her condition became worse), her belief in God did not fail..
Only “having heard of him” (she did not pray and fast asking for a divine encounter, she did not sit idly waiting for a miracle), she just made a decision to get her healing:
“she came up behind Him, and touched his garment …”
She “came by” her miracle and “took” it with her own hands. In other words, she had to make two steps in order to realize that she was healed from her illness.
Every born-again believer has open access to God to receive blessings, including healing. But not everyone realizes that access alone is not enough – you need unshakable faith and real action.
” And Jesus, perceiving in himself that power had gone out from him, immediately turned about in the crowd and said, “Who touched my garments?” (Mark 5:30)
How great was the faith of this woman that Jesus felt someone touch his clothes and “power had gone out of Him!”,though He was among a crowd.
The story ends with the words of Jesus:
” And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.” (Mark 5:34)
“Your faith has made you well…” – Jesus meant not only her inner faith, but the faith which she had demonstrated. She came close to Jesus (though enduring pain and making special efforts, pressing through the crowd), and touched his clothes (though not touching Him himself).
After a short sermon pastor U.Kumuyi and pastor Sunday prayed for the needs of people and for every person who knows the Living God to have a real, visible and practical faith!
Be blessed!
