Today I want to tell you about a new phase in my ministry. As you remember we were praying about it in the summer fast and will continue praying in the winter fast. I opened my heart to all of you that God has asked me to focus more on cross-cultural mission. So my major ministry in Ukraine is coming to an end. I will continue serving here but not as actively as it was before. My disciples will substitute me, continuing my ministry. The next focus in my mission for global outreach is the United States. The ministry is called “Churchshift”.
I wish that everybody would understand the essence and mission of this ministry. That is why my friends and partners who assist me are presenting this ministry to you today. You will find out about everything that had been done so far and also hear about all the perspectives of “Churchshift” movement.
Probably many of you ask: why America?” There are many reasons for this:
First of all, America has a huge impact on the rest of the world. The key leading ministries were developed over there. This country is blessed by God both in spreading the Gospel all over the world and in economics. So America has global influence because of her economic progress. Statistics says that ¼ of economic power and 45% of world wealth are concentrated in this country.
Therefore economic indices of America exceed the wealth of more than 50 other countries in total. She dictates her will to the whole world not only in cinema, education, politics, but in spiritual sphere as well. And I consider that it will become the strategic platform for the declaration of this new international ministry which God at this moment begins through us.
The necessity of this ministry is evident as America herself needs help from external sources. If for the last 100 years she was the leading country in spreading the Gospel all over the world, these days she needs assistance from missionaries.
It is hard to believe but there is nothing like the “Embassy of God” in the world. If this ministry will appear in America with God’s help and spreads all over the world, I believe it would be a gulp of fresh air to all churches as the world community imitates America in all spheres and especially in the church life. The real mission is not to abandon the earth but to effect and infect it with the culture and nature of Heaven.
So today I would like to tell in detail about this ministry, its urgency, and impact to the whole world.
America is the country that has done much for all the countries of the world but majority judge her by her international politics, by Soviet and post Soviet publicity media. In real life people in America are different from how media present them. It’s worth to fight for this country because of her global impact. And we do believe that “Churchshift’ movement will have tremendous international influence on the whole world.
Let’s have a look at some scriptures.
Hebrews 13:14 says:
“For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come”.
The Bible says that we are looking for the city that is to come and we do not have a permanent residence here on the earth. So we do not see ourselves as people of this world. And I do not want anybody to think that I have to live in Ukraine or in America. Like all of you here, I am a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven. Everyone has his own mission and calling to establish the Kingdom of God and God’s order on this earth, not in one country but in every country of the world. Our goal is to impact and spread the principles of the Kingdom of God, changing this planet by implementing heavenly culture and His essence! And this is what we are starting to do.
As you know our church has international calling and influence. Let’s go out like Jesus from our camp to fulfill our calling. Believe me it would be much better for me to stay in Kiev as this is the place of my comfort. But I agree with God’s will trying to bring the divine grace which was poured out on us into this world.
It’s written: “By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.” (Hebrews 11:8-10)
Obviously, everybody who is called by God must act according to his faith. And that means to go out from your land, comfort zone trying to create invisible and new things. Exactly the same thing happened to Abraham: as he went out of his land, his comfort zone, he became the father of a great number of nations. If we desire to follow his example and to become fathers of the nations we must take action accordingly to our faith, going out of our territory, our comfort zone. God sends a challenge to us expecting our actions and total obedience. You have already released Pastor Sunday, but the most important thing for you is to support this vision; sowing in him, believing in his future in order to make everything possible for the ministry to be successful all over the world.
In Revelation 12:12 is written: ”Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.” Remember the danger is while living on the earth you hope for the earthly. This can not be allowed! As the main mission of our life is using of all the resources of the earth in order to bring back all honour to God, glorifying our Creator!
Ephesians 2:5,6: “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus”. It is so significant for us to see ourselves next to our Father, managing earthly things from this position. That is why America is not the best place to live. For me it is the country that is in need of the Gospel and everything that we have in our church. Thus, we send our pastors as missionaries to America to bring grace and salvation that God has granted us for spreading these blessings all over the world. Today we are in great need of prayer, finance, and human recourses in order to bring God’s influence and glory through “Churchshift” ministry.
1 Peter 2:11,12 confirms this truth: ”Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul. Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.“
This is the prayer of my heart that nobody would lose the right focus and always remember that our homeland is actually located on Heavens. Let’s trust God and keep in mind that we are just strangers and pilgrims on this earth. Let’s do our best for the spreading of the Kingdom of our Father on the earth. Our activity must be motivated by the only purpose to bring the influence of the Kingdom of God to this world. “Churchshift” is the mental revolution, God’s model for transformation and the mind-set of a Christ-centered revolution that will spread all over the world transforming churches and society.
I am so grateful to God that He found and has chosen us to be His assistants in transformation of the church, the salvation of every country and city. Let’s take full responsibility and begin to climb the ladder of true greatness in life!
We crave that a great move of God would come like it was in times of Martin Luther in Germany who brought reformation and changed the history of the world.
Let reformation, transformation, revolution of righteousness, holiness and God’s fear spread, capturing the whole planet!
