The Central Church of the “Embassy of God” hosted a wonderful Couples’ Meeting. The theme of the evening was “Strengthening Relationships in Marriage.”The meeting was graced by Pastor Bose’s Presence. Her teaching was, as always, interesting, profound and full of life lessons. She shared the experience of her many years of a successful and happy marriage. Each family received a word of wisdom, instruction, and edification.
Attendants had an opportunity to ask questions. Matters such as the cause of bad relationships, and the risk factors of divorce within families were raised. We were acquainted with the statistics about the divorce rate in Ukraine, which was sitting at 60% in the year 2013.
It was a great time of fellowship and joy. At the beginning of the meeting, each family had the opportunity to get acquainted with each other and share the values that help to keep their marriage relationship. It was pleasant to see so many unique and beautiful couples.
The relaxed atmosphere contributed to the romantic mood and pleasant conversation. The spirit of unity and love was strong and each family had an opportunity to renew their marriage covenant.
The second part of the program was entertaining. There were gifted with wonderful music from Julia Barteneva, the winner of the 5th week of the X Factor online project, and the Klauning family. Also couples danced under the direction of the choreographer, Natalia Sokolik. It’s interesting to note that the last time some couples danced was at their wedding.
This lovely romantic evening ended with a a time of light refreshments and music. Couples ate, drank and conversed with classical music in the background. The couples were refreshed, inspired and renewed with love. This celebration was the perfect new beginning for subsequent meetings and events for couples.
